I had to remove the glass tempered protector to use the lifeproof.

It sticks slightly out at the top and the bottom of the screen protector. However, I have a glass screen protector underneath the Lifeproof screen protector so it might not be the best example.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but the LifeProof case's screen protector doesn't 'stick out' at all. It's completely flat.

No it does not, the entire case fits the iPhone 6 like a glove. It is lite and well engineered

No, the glass cover is like glass and it protects most of the phone. Mainly the front of the screen.
