Yes the home button is covered, but u can still use fingerprint access.

If you buy the one from otterbox that button should be covered. This one is not covered but that causes no problems for me. It reads my thumb print better.

I purchased my life proof case for iPhone 7 plus and EVERYTHING is covered....front and back.

Yes the home button is covered with a thin plastic film. The entire phone is completely enclosed in the case.

No it doesn't cover that button but it doesn't cause any trouble. It reads my thumb print better. If you buy the one from otterbox then the button is usually covered.
