“I have an older Lifestyle V20/30 System which is only 1080 capable for the TV Output. Can I keep the speakers and just purchase the newer Lifestyle Control Module without the speakers. I will not spend 3k for a whole new system when speakers are good.”

No, Lifestyle console consoles cannot be mixed between different speaker packages.
