“DOes this camera need a tripod? I am in my Masters' program and need an external webcam that can be used to monitor me while I take exams. It needs to either be able to sit independently or placed on a tripod.”

• I put it on top of my monitor. No tripod needed but you can use one if you want.

• This camera can both stand alone and it can be mounted on a tripod.
