• I am 5’10” and am using the kickstand and keyboard now to write this holding the iPad on my lap. Can sometimes feel a little close but works great.

• Depends on what angle you want the IPad to be at. Anywhere from 2.5 inches to 5 inches. Sits on my lap comfortably to view the screen and type on the keyboard
