“Does the keyboard cause the battery to drain faster?”

• It uses the iPad battery for power and backlighting which should draw some power when in use bit I haven’t noticed a significant change in battery life from it. While closed or asleep there is no drain whatsoever my iPad stays the same percentage overnight with keyboard attached.

• Yes it consumes battery but its not noticable. You can adjust the backlit.

• Hello, There is a nominal amount of extra battery that does get used---about 6% with a half hour of use with highest backlight setting---duration 60 seconds and fade set to fastest setting.
