It may take a few seconds, but is relatively easy to take it out and put back in. It works wonderful with the case on and even the keyboard folded back which will not interfere with tablet functions (may be easier to just leave it in there and use it)

Due to the perfect fit, it will not be able to be used with a separate silicone case. The Folio Touch provides complete 360 degree protection (when closed), and covers the corners and back when open.
