Why can I add GeekSquad protection to the G920 but not the G29 :(? Both can be used with PC, but one is only compatible with Xbox One and the other PS3/PS4. Otherwise, these products are almost identical, but no additional protection available for G29? null

@eyevr, did you buy it in store? When I add the G29 to my cart it doesn't offer a protection plan, but when I add the G920 it does allow me to add a protection plan. I would buy this right now from BestBuy.com if I could add a protection plan to it. According to BB it is not available for in store pickup in my area, either :(.

This isn't an answer, but I was allowed to add it to my G29 (SKU: 9997743). So it is possible.
