Hey Jar Jar, Near as I can tell the only way to adjust that is to spread the arch bar as wide as you can and wear it that way, otherwise it just keeps the pressure up, if its still too tight at that point... maybe try pulling them in opposite directions for a while to "break them in" but not so hard you break the headphones, obviously, I have noticed the same issues with pressure around my ears, and have taken to wearing them in shorter bursts which actually helps remind me to step away from my computer from time to time. I hope this is a help because wearing them constantly is probably not a good thing either way, but I know the desire to do so.
