I would contact the manufacturer of the headset. The manufacturer could best answer this question. I had some earbuds that had something similar happen to them. The wires separated from the earbud. I felt the wires were too fine to splice. The manufacturer send me some new ones for a nominal fee and free shipping. However, I only had the earbuds about a week. I don't know the thickness of the wire(s) in the headset. You MIGHT be able to splice the wire(s) inside the BLACK CORD by separation of each individual wire. Then use electrical tape to finish the job. In my experience the wires will be so fine in size that is not worth the effort and cost of repair material. I think I paid about $25.00 for my headphones at Best Buy with free shipping.
