Not entirely. They aren’t noise canceling, they’re more noise enhancing. They pick up most of not all background noise.

Hi, the H390 Wired Headset won't be able to completely drown out the sound of the trains, but it should be able to at least help dampen those noise a little! That is probably better than having no noise cancellation. Hope that helps! -N from Logitech
