• No it really would not as it does not fully cover the ears like some.

• Hey there Mylerian! Unfortunately due to the nature of this headset being an on ear headset rather than an over the ear headset, and the fact that it has no noise cancelation features, you're still going to get a lot of background noise when using the headset. The microphone is noise canceling, meaning that background noise won't necessarily come through the mic, but the headset itself is not.
