• Yes, and the keys adjust to Mac/iOS or Windows/Android. So you can type on your Mac and then switch to your iOS without a glitch, or Android even and the keys will adjust per device.

• Yes it will work. I have a 2010 White Macbook with El Capitan and it works with it just fine.You should have no problems using it with your Macbook Pro.
