Keys are quiet, and although you can hear them of course, it is not loud at all. Typing is extremely pleasant. If you had other bluetooth keyboards from Logitech, they don't compare, this is better. It was a nice surprise for the price. I use it at work and would also at home if I didn't have the new magic keyboard from Apple that came with the iMac.

This keyboard doesn't clack like the old PC keyboards did. It has a satisfying tactile feedback when the keys are pressed. The depression of the keys don't make much noise at all, kind of a short "dimple". When your fingers slap the keys (before they're depressed), there is a short "tap" sound. Not really noticeable to us, but it's not recording-studio silent either.
