“Does the cap light come on when caps are on so we know if there on or not”

• Yes, the caps light is a tiny LED located on the key itself. I found myself looking for it because I'd not noticed it yet elsewhere on the keyboard. Duh!

• Yes. The Caps Lock light comes just like most keyboards. It is clearly identifiable.
