• If you have other logitech devices with unifying receivers you can use that one. I have spares all since I use lots of these keyboards and the logitech trackball .

• "Logitech Unifying Receiver" are available from Best Buy, Staples, & Logitech Direct, among others. Price is $10 to $15. There is a corded backlit model available, the K-740. You can't make the K-800 'hardwired'.
