The answer to my prior question references "the receiver." Since when does a WIRED mouse have a receiver? Was my question even read before it was "answered?" What I want to know is if the mouse will behave when an extension cable is used! null

I in the past had a tight cord for my mouse to computer. I have used an extension cord on it and it works Great. No Problem at All.

I see the question is posted under the M100 wired mouse, but the question references the Marathon M705 wireless mouse and a wireless receiver. I’m not sure how the miscommunication happened in the earlier post, but I see that you have an unanswered question about using a USB extension with the M100 wired mouse. 
A quality USB extension cable can be used with either the M100 wired mouse or the M705 wireless mouse. A USB extension with a wireless mouse can help in placing the receiver in ideal proximity to the mouse. I hope this answers your questions, and I apologize for any miscommunication.
