• Yes, you can use it with a chromebook. All you need is an open USB port. You won't be able to use the additional features of the Logitech software, but the mouse works just fine.

• I don't see a reason for you not to use it. It is a simple but good mouse that should work perfectly with your chrombook.

• I was able to plug it right in and my ACER Chromebook recognized it without a problem.
