Hello, This is very much normal. The optical sensor that the M325 employs isn't visible to the human eye. With the optical sensor, it allows you to use it on virtually any surface including glass. - Richard from Logitech

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not emit a visible light so the only way you know the battery has run out is if your cursor doesn't move or you can't find it. Your optical mouse is working correctly. Turn it off when not in use.
