What are the right and left arrows by the wheel for? null

Hello Zephyr, Thank you for your question. The right and left arrows on the scroll wheel are the tilt wheel functions. The default functions are Internet back/forward. Further customization is available through the Logitech "Options" software. I have attached a link to the M325's "Getting Started" page where you will find product guides, software downloads and further support. That allows the mouse to have different functions.

You can push the roller wheel either side direction to change web pages. There may be other actions I'm sure, but that is what I know of.
