Chromebook uses a different operating system called Chrome OS. Different than Windows or Mac. Things that work on Mac or Windows won't always work on a Chromebook. We bought two of these for our kids and can confirm they work great with Chromebooks.

No USB port on my Chrome book so has to be attached with blue tooth itself. No other way to attach mouse. Must purchase a mouse that has the blue tooth insignia on the mouse itself.

The main difference is the operating system. A Chromebook runs Google's Chrome OS, which is basically its Chrome browser dressed up a bit to look like the Windows desktop. The Chrome OS is more stable than Windows 10 because it updates automatically behind the scenes without any prompts.
