For the m325, when you roll the middle scroll button does it roll freely like a ball or slight clicks for accuracy. The m310 had slight clicking and I do not want free rolling scroll. Any info on this would be great. null

It is free rolling, I know as I have the type that clicks when rolling, but after using this quite a bit I like it, and have a funny feel when I use my other on a different Lap Top.

I feel a slight click, but it is minimal. I wouldn't call it free scrolling at all as there is control over the scrolling. The mice I've used before had a more noticeable click where this one doesn't, but in my opinion, I wouldn't consider it rolling freely.

It doesn’t free spin like a ball, but the click is minimal. It will not continue to spin even if you do it fast. It has resistance.
