To answer your second question. All mice use a an electric light to track surfaces, but standard mice use an LED for it, while laser mice use an actual laser for it. Laser is generally more accurate and usable on more surfaces. The M510 "appears" to come in both varieties. I have two of them and one clearly has a laser module and is marked as such. However, a different M510 that I have is NOT marked as having laser capability and has a different style lens assembly. More confusing, the package for the second one says that it has "laser grade" capability, not that it is actually a laser mouse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is compatible if you have an available USB port. The laser is on the underside of the mouse to detect when the mouse moves.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not familiar if it is compatible with a mac, however the laser, it takes th e place of the "old time" rubber ball to direct the mouse, and is more accurate when directing the cursor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about using it with a MAC, but I would think it will work. The laser detects the mouse's movements across the desk or mouse pad instead of the old fashioned roller ball.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is. Switching usb nano between PC and Mac is pretty easy. Does not required additional installation or software.Laser is faster and provides better stability on different surface, also it is much more reliable then optical mouse.
