• The length is 3 inches. Yes, this product works with Bluetooth, but not with Linux.

• It is approximately 4 inches (10 cm) long. I have no personnel knowledge about its compatibility with Linux. However if you check the questions on Amazon, you will find an answer. Note there are many flavors of Linux. An Amazon user says it will work with "Ubuntu 16.04 and Linux Mint 18, including browser forward/back (left or right with the tilt/scroll wheel), and switch application (by pressing the navigation button)."

• Bluetooth is bluetooth. If the Linux machine supports bluetooth there is no reason why it wouldn't work. It measures appx. 2.5" X 3.5". rh
