• Yes it should; comes with the USB Bluetooth adapter. I haven’t tried to connect it to the MacBook’s Bluetooth.

• Yes it is. I have mine hooked up to my Mac mini. Works just fine. Actually we have 3 mice hooked up at the same time. Our home computer has 5 users and everyone like what the like. My trackball, MAC touchpad, and the MAC mouse.just set to the side which is not being used.
