No, it won't. You will have to use the NEW one that comes with the new mouse. I had the same problem.

The old USb receiver should work as long asi it is the Unifying receiver

Most likely no, you will need to use the old USB for the old Keyboard and remove and turn off the old mouse. Then plug in the new USB for the new M705. If the old Keyboard is a Logitech Keyboard, you maybe able to remove the old USB and configure the new USB connector M705 for unifying option in the Logitech software for both the old keyboard and the new M705 mouse.

This mouse can work independently of your other mouse and keyboard combo. Just turn off your old mouse (remove its batteries) plug in USB for the new mouse and then put the batteries in the new mouse and your new mouse will work with your old keyboard.

You won't need it. The new mouse will have one in the battery compartment. Little spot that holds it in there so if you travel you can store it there till needed.
