You'll get input and range issues with lower-power rechargeables, even with lower-draw BLE devices such as this. Make sure the batteries that you have are capable of providing an actual 1.5 vDC each. Some produce much less.

If you have good rechargeables then yes, they work. If they are old and have been recharged 1,000 times then its time to recycle them.

Hello. Rechargeable batteries will work in the MK270, but we recommend using normal Alkaline AA (2x for mouse) and AAA (3x for keyboard).
