“I sent my laptop off for service and the USB receiver / dongle was not returned. Is there a replacement or will I just need a new keyboard/mouse (my other logitech USB will not work with this "logi" set up).”

I'd suggest you get into contact with whatever company you sent your laptop to for service, or contact Logitech. I haven't had this happen but it would really suck to have to spend that money again for just the dongle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend contacting the service provider to replace the dongle and/or keyboard/mouse (whichever they deem cheaper or more efficient). If they won't... I haven't personally replaced mine, however you can Google search a replacement. I recommend starting on the manufacturer's website to ensure you're finding the correct one & price it there, then look on site's like Walmart, Amazon & an open Google search to see who else has it. A quick search showed me a replacement costs almost as much as a new, inexpensive keyboard-mouse, so keep that in mind before purchasing.
