I haven’t tried this yet, but the Logitech software suggested using only one dongle upon installing the second Logitech device. (I had already plugged in the second dongle and I’m too lazy to crawl under the desk to unplug it.)

You only need one dongle. There’s a Logitech application (Logitech Unifying Software) that once you download it, you can add or remove Logitech devices from your machine.

You can use just one dongle.  You have to download the software driver from Logitech but it is easy to set up.

The MX Master 3 uses our Unifying Receiver, meaning you can link multiple devices to one receiver as long as they're compatible with the receiver.
