Can this keyboard mouse combo be used without using the dongle that comes with it? I have a macbook air M3 that only has 2 thunderbolt 4 ports, and I am hoping to use it with just Bluetooth and no dongle installation null

Yes you can. All three devices can be connected by Bluetooth alone.

Yes, the keyboard and mouse can be connected via Bluetooth and the dongle would not be needed with a Bluetooth capable computer.

The primary reason I chose the Pebble 2 Combo was for its Bluetooth capability for my HP laptop.  I cant' address it capabilily with Apple products, however.

No, you can't use the Pebble Combo 2 keyboard and mouse without the dongle. It only works with the included USB device. If you have limited ports on your MacBook Air, you might need to consider a USB hub or a different keyboard and mouse that uses Bluetooth.
