Hello CR7443! Yes, the MX Mechanical Full size Wireless Mechanical Tactile Switch Keyboard for Windows/macOS with Backlit Keys could be a great solution for both Work & Gaming. It offers the Mechanical switches that people love on the Gaming side, and the productivity of our Core lineup like the MX Keys in example, giving you the ability to connect it via Bluetooth (for Core usage) or with the Bolt USB Receiver (for Gaming) to 3 different computers and switch between them with the Easy Switch keys at the top of the keyboard. You cannot use the keyboard in a wired format only, it has to be connected via Bluetooth or with the Receiver, but you can connect it to charge the keyboard and use it while it's charging, no problem. - Mathieu from Logitech
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My understanding about WIRELESS and GAMING is that they are not ideal partners. I presume that is the basis of your question. Latency ('lag time') is an unavoidable side effect of wireless. They're OUTSTANDING for benign, administrative stuff (typing, numpad...). Not for things that require guaranteed fast response without lag.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The wire would charge it while typing. Gaming would be something above my pay grade but I will say it’s not cheap and it stays put while you’re typing.
