• Yes, the mic attaches via a 3.5mm connector like most audio interfaces. It can easily be attached and removed as desired.

• Yes the microphone on the headset is completely optional and detachable, it comes out of the box without the microphone plugged in and attached to the headset but can be added on at any point, hope this helps!

• Yes, the mix is detachable. I personally use this headset without the mic attached because I have a standalone Yeti mic.
