I'm not sure about any port, but the battery compartment is on the bottom, at the back of the mouse. You should see a line dividing the mouse, and you can slide it back to reveal the battery and the storage for the USB dongle. There is no charging port on this mouse, so unless you posted this question on the wrong product, you are mistaken.

The M650 L has an AA battery - not rechargeable. Turn the mouse over, so "M650 L" is at the top. There is a 'crack' across the bottom of the mouse, just below the on/off switch (is the switch on? - with a green background under the switch?). That lower section of the bottom of the mouse slides down to expose the battery compartment. That's also where the USB-A dongle is stored.

turn it over and the battery compartment is at the bottom half of the mouse.  just slide it open
