“Does this work with the new iPad that just came pout last week? I noticed most of the dimensions with the iPad Air 2 are the same, except the new iPad a little bit thicker. Anyone know for sure?”

Please try again later.We had the same issue with a previous case from Amazon and had to return it - I recommend going to a store, any store, to find the right one and then can decide to buy it there or not. Best Buy is great - you can look up on Amazon on the spot and if less expensive there, they will price match it. Easy. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You have to buy the model specific to the iPad. The new iPad thickness is the same as the iPad 2. This is designed for the iPad Air 2 which is a bit thinner but enough that the larger one won't fit and using the iPad Air 2 in the other version, it slides around and won't lock in place.
