• Yes it does. I have a 9.7" pro and it works great! But it does cover the one speaker.

• Actuall no it won't work with the Pro. My wife purchased a Pro and we bought this for her iPad. As it turned out it works with the iPad 2air, but not the Pro regardless of the fact that the dimensions are the same. I kept the keyboard unit for my iPad 2 air and she bought another case entirely. Try it in the store and you'll understand.
