Stay paired Does it stay paired with bluetooth or does need to be paired constantly? I ask this because that is a problem with Zagg.

Mine stays paired well. I've never had an issue with that. However the keyboard will occasionally turn itself on.

Pairs instantly when opened. I use it on the road all day, never an issue as long as its charged.

It automatically pairs each time it switches on when the iPad is placed in typing position. Takes perhaps 2 seconds and is totally automatic. There is a blue indicator light that indicates successful pairing.

It stays paired with bluetooth the entire time I am using it...even when closing iPad, as long as it isn't turned off.

Had a Zagg and had the same problem you descibe. Returned it and got the Logitech. Works great with zero problems so far after a month of solid use. FYI, my iPad Air is used for work so it is used heavily.
