• There is a plastic form that the IPad snaps into. Mine has stayed firmly attached.

• 7in tablet should fit without a problem. I was able to fit my iPad 2 which is a little bigger than 7in.

• The long side has a maneuverable seam with a magnet that attaches to the tablet.
