“Does this keyboard/case fit the ipad air 2 or just the original ipad air? The specs in the description say this keyboard/case is for the ipad air, but it doesn't mention that it is compatible with the ipad air 2, so I am asking this question.”

It is for the iPad 1 and does not fit the iPad air 2!

Ipad air only. Ipad air 2 is thinner and will fall out.

This one only fits the IPAD Air original issue. IPAD Air 2 has a thinner profile but a keyboard is available for it.

No, it's only for IPad Air, they make another one for IPad Air 2. Other brands make them for IPad Air 2 also.. When you go to buy one, be sure the box says for IPad Air 2.
