No, they have wires that come with. Look for two plugs on the side of your laptop or in the back of your computer. Start a CD or YouTube video--something with sound. Then turn the speakers up and wait to hear a sound. Remember, one of the two plugs is a microphone and the other is for audio. Green plugs represent audio.
