The cord is 6', it should work for your purposes. The speakers can sit to either side of the monitor, but not a lot farther.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cord that came with my package was roughly 3 feet and I have my tower under my desk and also about 3-4 feet back from the speaker location, plus some twists and turns. I bought a 6 ft extender. You only need the main audio cable to reach from the PC to the right speaker. There is a small amp in that speaker and then a lead runs from the right speaker to the left speaker and is as long as you'd probably want to separate these speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cord is about 3', I have mine on a small dinette table in a small 16' trailer; my laptop is on an extension arm extended above the table b/c I keep spilling stuff. The only issue is with the gauge of the wire, they tend to break rather quickly; I just exchanged mine at the store. If you have any electrical skills, a larger wire graphed into existing hardware would make them really "sweet." For 20 bucks, not too shabby. If I had the cash, I would get the Bose next to it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have my tower under a desk and the speakers on top, I have more than ample cord to reach for plug in in the back. I have not measured the cord, but the speakers sit on each side of a 23" monitor. Hope this answered you question.
