These are desktop speakers, they aren’t meant to be used on a tv. Which is why it only uses a 3.5mm jack. It’s meant for a pc or monitor. I’d suggest getting a soundbar. It’s slightly pricier but you’ll get better sound out of HDMI, and you’ll have a hassle free setup.

Hello, anonymous, The configuration you laid out to use with the Z313 will work only if you play Blu-rays. It won't work when playing your TV since the audio output being used is from your Blu-ray player and has nothing to do with your TV's sound. - Richard from Logitech
