No, the Z313 is designed to be connected to devices with a stereo mini-plug. Traditional stereo receivers/amps like the Sony do have this type of connection, instead using RCA-type connectors and bare-cable clamps for speakers.

Most older receivers are rca connections which are a pin surrounded by an outer ring. In this case you would need a rca adapter to change to a 1/8 pin connector. If the reciever has a headphone jack these are usually 1/4" with an adapter you could change this to a 1/8 pin.
