• Both, standard connection when it plugs into itself and USB where the main unit plugs into the computer..

• It is a standard headphone jack, with no usb connection. The power goes to the sub-woofer through a standard power plug, and a standard audio plug links the sub-woofer to the computer's speaker jack.

• 3.5mm audio/headphone jack is only connection. You can plug them into the GREEN audio input on the back of you PC for best sound and sound management options (for adjustability).
