• Yes; plug them into your headphone/ear bud jack on the laptop. Also.. get DFX Sound Enhancement utility... really, really makes for a pleasant experience with these speakers.

• If you have a headphone/microphone combo port, then yes. If you have two separate 3.5mm jacks on your laptop/PC, connect it to the Headphone port. Most likely any audio drivers/software will pop up a window on your computer asking what the device is.
