• The volume control dial has an Aux and headphone plug. Are use my headphones and it works great

• Well, here is what you can get using this system. There is a phone plug in for head phones in the volume on/off controller. When ear buds are plugged in the speakers cut off. So this should work for you. You can buy speaker extension cables with the RCA plugs on them so larger speaker separation is possible.
