• Simple answer is ‘YES’. One of the speakers has a power button, a volume, and, I believe, a bass volume, which controls all 3 speakers. I haven’t paid attention to the third knob since I just plugged it into my desktop and played away. The sound is great.

• Hello john! The volume button on the Z623 2.1 Speaker System won't turn off the speaker system no, you have to press the power button to the left of the volume button to turn the unit on and off.
