It should. I've windows 10. You can check the Microsoft site to see if you can update for free but I wouldn't as windows 10 is their worst OS I've ever had the displeasure of using. Windows 11 is even worse. I have a free version of Malwarebytes that I've been using for years and it just picked up 12 threats in two days including Trojan etc. I scanned my computer days after hearing the rumor in 3/22 that Microsoft got hacked. I checked the quarantined threats and yep, they were all Microsoft/windows/Adobe files that infected my computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine installed in windows 7 and windows 10 and I have 5 computers and they all have malwarebytes and have no issues at all, I think is the best in the market right now for computer users, I don’t see a reason why you can’t install it in the 8.1 operating system, but to make sure read the label printed in the box it would tell you if is good for windows 8.1 (a piece of advice better upgrade 8.1 to windows 10 still available for free from the internet in Microsoft.com is a world of difference STILL FREE I just updated mine last week from windows 7 and is working beautifully, please do the switch you will not regretted)
