Is it strong enough to hold a Nikon D7000 DSLR CAM? null

Absolutely! This thing holds my 5d Mark4 and a sigma 85mm 1.4 art lens! That’s some serious weight!

I would recommend a heavier capacity tripod like the MK290LTA3-VUS. The compact is rated up to 3.5lbs if you olut a big lens on there you will be at capacity. The MK290LTA3-VUS holds up to 8.8lbs.

If you using from a hands free standing position to take smooth straight photos. I have used it on heavy cameras
