If connecting via Bluetooth, the speaker will need to be unpaired from your phone and paired directly in the Alexa app. I recommend using a hard-wired connection and this will bypass the Standby-mode on the speaker, allowing the Alexa to play through the speaker without having to interact with the top panel.
