A:AnswerA fridge repair guy told me he's had to repair many Whirlpools of certain models. This Maytag is not just like the Whirlpool, though Whirlpool makes it. Just got this a month ago, so can't speak to reliability. So far, we love it.

A:AnswerBe sure that the refrigerator doors are closed. Sometimes they appear to be closed but are not properly closed. Close the left one first. The red light for the open door indicator should be off.
